Chicken Soup for Grandkids

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 2 teaspoon Santa Fe Seasons Six Seasonings
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Chicken soup mix
  • 1 package Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 6 stalk Celery
  • 1 10.5 oz. can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 16-oz bag Sliced carrots
  • 1 bag Mrs. Miller's Old Fashioned Medium Egg Noodles

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with the seasonings.

  2. Fill a large pot 2/3 full of water.

  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the water.

  4. Turn the burner to high, and heat until boiling.

  5. When the water begins boiling, turn the burner down to medium.

  6. Cook for 15 minutes on high.

  7. While the chicken is boiling during the first 15 minutes, chop 6 celery stalks into small, fine chunks and set aside.

  8. Open a can of cream of chicken souip.

  9. Empty the can of souip into a 2-clup measuring glass.

  10. Fill the can halfway with water.

  11. Add the water to the soup and stir with a whisk.

  12. Now add the celery, chicken soup, and one bag of sliced carrots into the pot of boiled chicken.

  13. Stir well.

  14. Add one bag of Mrs. Miller's Old Fashioned Medium Egg Noodles.

  15. Turn the burner down to low and cook for 30 minutes.

  16. The soup is thick, and you may prefer adding more water to it.

This recipe makes enough for five people to have two servings plus plenty leftovers.
