Cook pork riblets in the slow cooker for an easy dinner. Add vegetables on top, and you have a complete meal. It’s a one-pot meal for two cooked all day and ready for eating when you walk in the door.

Slow Cooker Pork Riblets recipe is literally a fall-off-the-bones kind of meat. The riblets were very tender.

I noticed bones I hadn’t been aware of before when cooking ribs. They are circular and flat.

But there’s no need to worry about bones with this meat that’s left in the slow cooker all day.

You know why? Because they are:

Juicy. Tasty. Mouth watering riblets.

Add any kind of vegetables you want with the pork dinner. Many times I cook veggies in the slow cooker inside foil placed on top of the meat.

Usually, I seal the foil to keep the steam inside. This time, however, I left the foil open. Of course, the lid was closed and there wasn’t any need to worry about the steam escaping the crock.

I’ve also placed potatoes, onions, and carrots in with the meat. It’s all a matter of preference.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages Pork Riblets
  • 2 tablespoons Six Seasonings herbs and spices This is the seasoning I use, but you can use any herb and spice blend you prefer.
  • 2 teaspoons Mesquite seasoning
  • 4 Red potatoes
  • 1/2 head Cabbage
  • 2 tablespoon Butter

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the riblets with one of the tablespoons of herb and spice blend.

  2. Place ribs into the bottom of the slow cooker.

  3. Place foil on top of the meat, pressing down and forming into the shape of a bowl.

  4. Cut the potatoes and cabbage into quarters and place them on the foil, adding the seasoning and butter (cut into small pieces and placed around the potatoes and cabbage).

  5. Cook on high for 8 hours.

  6. If you don't want your riblets to literally fall apart, then try cooking the ribs on low for 8-10 hours.

Save any leftover rib meat, and make another meal. Here are a few suggestions of what you could make with the leftovers:

  • chili
  • open-faced sandwiches
  • burritos
  • tacos
  • soup
  • nachos
