Recipe Notes

Serve hamburger steaks with fried eggs. Add grits and toast as sides if you like.

I have also cooked hamburgers in the slow cooker, wrapped in foil. They have turned out very good this way. So if you choose not to grill the steaks, try cooking them in the slow cooker on high for five or six hours or on low for 8-10 hours.

Hamburger steak and fried eggs provide a large amount of protein, and you should be quite full after such a hearty breakfast. Enjoy every minute of it!
